IKUMI is a Japanese unisex fashion brand designed by model Ikumi. The brand concept is "black and white."
The brand was launched with a show at New York Fashion Week in the spring/summer season of 2015. Since then, it has presented new products in show format at various locations every season.

In Japan, she debuted as a fashion model, appearing on the covers of Japanese Harajuku street magazines, etc. She also debuted in New York.
After gaining a lot of modeling experience, including walking the runway for Adidas' world campaign and the New York Collection, she decided she wanted to be the one designing the clothes, so she launched her own brand.
In 2016, she started the fashion brand "IKUMI."
Born to a Japanese mother and a German father, the brand is a fusion of the two cultures, and is made up of only black and white items. The white is for angels, and the black represents the demons, and together they represent the duality of life, like light and shadow, Yin and Yang.
Since Ikumi grew up in Japan, she is deeply fascinated by the essence of Japan, including kanji, harmony, Yokai, and anime.
It also contains strong elements of techno and punk, which have fashion roots from Germany.
